If your HIFICU account has been inactive for at least 5 years, you should have received this letter in the mail during the month of July. This letter is to inform you that your account is presumed abandoned, and therefore escheatable to the State.

To avoid escheatment and the fees and hassle it comes with, you must either reactivate or close your account before September 1, 2023.
